Shit hit the fan for me, care to help out?

K so like I go to school, right? Expected a central detention cuz I cut class on Friday. That was alright, no big deal.

Thing is, as soon as I got home, I go to check my lovely lovely MacBook. Not a year old, in gorgeous condition. As I'm about to check my IM program, I notice it's not opening, though the program was running and the computer was recognizing all the movements of the mouse, etc etc. I manage to re-open an already running Opera, and failed to start up an iTunes session. Then I listened closely and my Hard drive was making this TERRIBLE (as in a techy's worst nightmare terrible) clicking sound. So I reboot, the only sane thing to do, really. Problem then that arose was that now it can't find my harddrive at all. To my dismay, I believe the harddrive is burnt out. Now, you all might think "Well you don't post art, so there's clearly nothing worth salvaging." or something to that accord, but you're WRONG. I've had years upon years of memories saved on that laptop (yay file transfers) and music that I had PURCHASED (yes purchased, I actually BUY my music sometimes). Above that, I also had specialty programs that required little payments to own for more than 30 days, etc etc. that allowed me to customize my layout and such. I had photoshop CS3, Pro Tools, all that good jazz. Everything is now on an inaccessable hard drive, in an impossible to dismantle MacBook case, and I fear removing a screw and risking ruining a perfectly good waranty. Three likely (and potentially costly) solutions to recover have been thought up, but I may need some extra funding to cover such things (considering that if I need to ship off my harddrive to 3rd party recovery peoples, the price range can go anywhere from $500 to over $1000 and take quite a long amount of time).

So, I'd like to ask if anyone would be willing to commission me? I'm now offering full inked and possibly colored (depending on my confidence) pictures of single characters, and for 5 bucks more, you can have a basic background thrown in (might take a lil longer to make said picture then). My paypal is Fritt.Monster@gmail.com for those of you who wish to commission, or just toss a friendly dollar or so my way to gather up funds to get my laptop repaired before any major conventions find me. It's got everything on it. One could say my life up to this point.

Oh, and to top it all off, my dog Daisy (Pit Bull), got loose and got into a fight with a Golden Retriever about a block from my house. We don't know who the owners are or what really went down considering the cops wouldn't tell us shit. So now we might just be getting rid of her, AND possibly my cats because of the destruction in my house. (clawed furniture, peeing)

Oooh how fun it is, just sitting there, pencil in hand. To be truthful, I don't get why they have to test us on EVERYTHING from the beginning of the school year to now. It's not like it all really matters that much, right?

Yeah, an arguement you hear from every other student during testing. Surprisingly I'm not one of them. No, in fact I've found uses for what we've been taught, whether it be just helping a friend or figuring out some daily chore that calls for some indepth math.

So far the exams have gone pretty well. Chemistry, US History, English, Choir, and now Math. Go figure that I didn't do too hot on my math midterm (taken today), considering my final grade for the Second Marking period was an A.
Overall the testing is going swimmingly. An essay here, 20 multiple choice there. All's good in the land of Fritter.

Summer Re-cap: End to the Freedom

Sooo, it's come to be that time of year where all the good little boys and girls of this damned country start school again. Myself included.

As of Thursday, September 6th, 2007... I begin my junior year of highschool. Definitely not looking forward to it. SATs, HSPAs, have to start looking into colleges... Every little bit of it is complete suck.

There have been some good times though, leading up to this dreaded day. Three different conventions, special in their own, precious, minuscule ways.

AnthroCon (July 5th-9th), first ever attended Furry convention with all my awesome and appreciated friends. Spent loads of money, stayed up until sunrise, just to sleep for three hours. The ZOO. Everything. This has been marked by many, including myself, as a definate re-do for next year, with some bigger and better plans for what to do within the convention! <3

Otakon (July 20th-22nd), a re-do of the previous Otakon 2K6 where I'd met all of the artists I idolize. Not quite as orgasmic as the first time around, but it had its good points. The people who were there and who weren't there, for one. The new acceptance from others. It was all definitely a well executed re-do. Looking forward to next year.

FurAffinity:United (August 9th-11th), a cute First Year convention taking place right in my home state, and not too far off from where I live either. Hung out with, yet again, almost everyone I wanted to, plus a few I initially thought wouldn't care to so much as speak with me. Hit up the tables, as with the other two conventions. And for it being a first year con, went off as if it'd been going on for years!

Aaaaugh 8'< I'm gonna miss everyone, sharing tons of laughs, traveling north, south, and westward in the US to go have a fantastic time with everyone. LUCKILY THOUGH, They'll all be coming over in October to go see Walking With Dinosaurs: Live! Better get my kitchen re-stocked for Seel's blackhole of a belly D:

And then there's also a big MAYBE on FurFright with Leelee at the end of October, and perhaps a day with the Bully-Dingo studios in November.

Ah well. All good things have to end eventually, right? But luckily, once Junior year blows over (and I promise I'll try my best to get good grades for once [trying best is not a strong point] to make everything easier) I'll get to open my summer with a lovely lovely 6 day experience at AnthroCon 2008. Even booked my hotel room already~

Labor Day Weekend = Bordom

Yeah... so this entire final free week has completely sucked, seeing as I've been stuck at my dad's house, away from what I consider to be family and friends.

Yeaaah so... It's not all bad news.

Get to go to the annual Renaissance Festival in Sterling Forest, Tuxedo, NY this Sunday. Picking up Leelee Saturday evening and taking a look at her dad's Mazda since we might do a little purchase before they move, take the car off their hands. <3

Not so good news, School starts in about a week, approximately September 6th.

A better side of the turn of September, I turn 16 on the 24th :]. (Haha, and I normally hate counting down to my birthday. Guess turning 16 means more to me than those other pathetic numbers) Getting my permit, starting driving school shortly after that, and in a year's time, will have my driver's liscense! And beyond that, School starting marks approximately 186 weekdays until the five day stretch for Anthrocon 2008!
(shutup I like looking forward to things :<)

Been working more on art (Sorry, skeef, I kinda made a lie so you wouldn't bother hosting me... my work won't ever be worth really posting unless I get a lotta good input), looking up to my favorite artist(s) Kenket and BlackTeagan [Combined they form the awesome power that is Blotch]. And even better, they're the friendly types and seem glad to talk with me on IM on occasion. (NOT GLOATING I SWEAR)
In all reality they've been inspiration since I first found their art, and being able to talk to them gives me more drive <3

That goes, ofcourse, for ALL the great artists I've come to know (list long, won't type 8];; )

TIRED AND SAD

Heh, more tired than sad... for numerous reasons (One so that I don't get slapped DX;; )

Just got back from my final convention for the summer season, FurAffinity: United! And what a blast. Started off with Leelee coming over Thursday morning to hang out, cook together, and doodle about. Left for FA:U EARLY Friday morning just to find out that registration wasn't for another 3 hours. We sat around until then and met up with FA members. Got that done with at 12 and went about to meet with friends and get food. Ran around a bit, met more people, and then got to Blotch. WOW they're nice :] Definately will do my best to stay in contact with them.

Anyway, left at 4pm, and caught up with our friend Tak for an hour at night after ordering pizza. Did some work, and went to bed. Got up later and left to get to FA:U at about 12pm, met up with everyone and had a gay old time. Bought stuff, sold stuff, talked around. Loved every minute. That night we got wise and roomed with Sapph and Clawed, Korth and Daz. More things we did was hit some panels for drawing which DEFINATELY benefitted myself and those around me. One held by Clawed and one by Blotch. Had more fun then.

Slept to 9am, and had more final day fun. Hijacked a table after a while of sitting on the floor, sold stuff, and made 115 dollars by the end of the con, in only one day.

That's it. Now I have post-con depression and miss lee since we dropped her off at 8pm tonight.

that's it, I need a drink.

Had a high fever for the past three days, finally broke today, but at the same time, I blacked out and smashed my face into the wooden frame of my bed.

I feel silly for having chosen to just go to sleep when my temperature broke 102 degrees :3
